Show time: Five days of sales at FLIBS 2020

Despite the restrictions, the 2020 Fort Lauderdale Boat Show went ahead in an adjusted format and attracted exactly the kind of people we like to meet.

There had been doubts but in the end the show did go on, although FLIBS 2020 was smaller than usual with visitor numbers down by a third. The good news was that this meant a greater proportion of owners and potential buyers were walking the quays, keen to see and test the very latest products. And this in turn meant the Vanquish team was actually busier than ever as we signed various new orders over the five days of FLIBS, including a VQ58, a VQ68 and three VQ40s.

These assignments add to the excellent run of sales we’ve been on throughout this turbulent year. As you’ll read in this Update, Vanquish Superyachts is now busy with a VQ115 Veloce and a VQ80 SportFish, while sister company Vanquish Yachts has a formidable fleet of projects in build including VQ58s, VQ52s, VQ50s and VQ45s in aluminium and VQ40s, VQ16s and VQ11s in composite. With the opening of our new facility, all clients will continue to receive the personal hands-on service that makes building your very own Vanquish so special.
