New VQ43 Mk2 SAL arrives in Ibiza

The new VQ43Mk2SAL was delivered in early May. This remarkable vessel has a highly distinctive colour scheme which is primarily blue and yet clearly visible from afar. The combination with the gorgeous newly designed cushions (see story below) gives the VQ43 Mk2 a unique look.

Driving the VQ43 Mk2 is a real treat as well: her performance is impressively predictable and showcases all the attributes of a true VQ yacht.
The deep walkarounds add an extra sense of safety and make the yacht equally well-suited for sailing families. Moreover, the double spray rail makes the VQ43 Mk2 the ‘driest’ open boat when underway on the market today.

Compared to earlier VQ43 Mk2s, SAL has a larger swimming platform, giving her a length of almost 45 feet. We also placed the platform 10 cm closer to the water, which gives the whole boat an even more elegant appearance. The boat now has twin Volvo IPS 600 engines: a propulsion system that is exceptionally quiet and fuel-efficient in use.

The overall concept of the VQ43 Mk2 is to provide the best sailing performance in her class by means of a new and improved underwater section. Like all VQ yachts, it can be fully customised to your personal requirements and fitted out in a Veloce version for even higher bursts of speed.
