First order for new VQ58 Hardtop

VQ Yachts has sold an all new VQ58 Hardtop to a buyer in the United States.
Having already sold three of our regular VQ54 models in recent times, we were delighted to customise the new order boat into a hardtop version. Ideally suited to longer trips, the VQ58 Hardtop has a wide open feel, further enhanced by the enormous sunroof which can be opened and closed automatically. When we engineered the hardtop request on a VQ54 for basis we found out that we need to rise the hull and floor levels and make the yacht longer to fit all the different engine packages.
At the heart of the VQ58 concept is a flexible boat that combines the best of the best when it comes to speed, comfort and layout. In developing the hardtop VQ58 for the launch client, we decided to design a hull that would be equally suited for an open-top or T-top model in the future.
Created by Guido de Groot, the design is specifically tailored for an owner who wished to have an aft section resembling the VQ50, including the garage bay for a Williams tender on the starboard side. The rest of the boat is based on the successful VQ54. The Hardtop version can be equipped with many different types of engines and drives while also offering seats or berths for at least 23 people.
